USS LEXINGTON CV-2
On February 20, 1942, while operating in the South Pacific, Lexington and her escorts were attacked by 17 G4M1 "Betty" bombers. Famous pilots such as "Butch" O'Hare and Jimmy Thach shot down some of these attacking aircraft during this engagement.
